Hi, I’m Girish. For more than a decade I’ve been capturing vibrant, authentic moments that tell stories, from the quiet beauty of everyday life to unique cultural themes.
Since 2015 I’ve been an exclusive contributor to Getty Images (opens in a new tab) and iStock (opens in a new tab). My work spans creative stills, video and editorial, and every frame is made with care. It lives exclusively on Getty Images and iStock, as part of a global collection that clients around the world trust for their creative and commercial projects.
Photography isn’t just what I do; it’s what I love.
My work is made for commercial use, and I shoot with that in mind. The range is wide: aerial cityscapes such as Lower Manhattan at golden hour, city skylines at dusk, industrial sites and ports from above, business and teamwork, celebrations and fireworks, travel landscapes and portraits of real people. What I’m proudest of is how long the images last. Many of the same frames have stayed among my best sellers year after year since 2017.

In 2015 I published Norway: The Picturesque Masterpiece (opens on Apple Books in a new tab), a coffee table book inspired by my visit to Norway, available on Apple Books. It was made with my son, Tanay (Sunny), who helped with the content production and carried the gear throughout the trip.
